OSX Goodness

thanks to Idan Gazit, Clutter and Clutter-Cairo are now available using the MacPorts project; in order to install Clutter on OSX you just need to set up MacPorts, open a terminal and type:

  sudo port install clutter

and everything will be taken care of.

obviously, this would not work without the great effort of Tommi Komulainen, the Quartz backend maintainer who’s now rocking hard on trunk; it would be great to have some other OSX developers help him rocking even harder.

where are the test-cases and ‘toy’ applications ?

why dont they build by default ?

  2. Emmanuele Says:

@john: the toys are never updated for an unstable developers snapshot — it would be pointless to showcase an API that can still change. the toys are usually updated after the stable release has been done — even though there have been some delay this time because of conferences, holidays and a big thing that happened around August. we’ll try and update the missing toys — or remove them if we can’t — but, as usual, patches welcome!

also, could you please maintain a civilsed tone?
